Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Thriving in a high-autonomy environment, the remote Senior Software Engineer will own meaningful product and platform outcomes from end to end, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams to solve complex problems that impact members and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own high-stakes work as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI), managing ill-defined problems from design to deployment
• Design for flexibility, delivering incremental value through engineering practices that adapt to market needs
• Drive measurable outcomes, ensuring every initiative ties back to member metrics, cost lines, or revenue levers

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of leading initiatives end-to-end
• Demonstrated ability to lead in ambiguity and turn vague problem statements into actionable solutions
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools and experience in refining workflows
• Strong fundamentals in C#/.NET, TypeScript, React, SQL, and cloud infrastructure (Azure and/or AWS)
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority
