Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for architecting and building scalable platform components, optimizing infrastructure, and mentoring engineers while driving technical initiatives around microservices and distributed systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and build scalable platform components using Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and React
• Lead code and architecture reviews to ensure high standards for reliability, performance, and maintainability
• Own and deliver impactful projects end-to-end, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on backend systems and platform services
• Expertise in Node.js and modern development patterns (TypeScript/JavaScript)
• Solid experience designing and scaling distributed systems with a focus on performance and reliability
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and production-grade deployments
• Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and containerization tools like Docker and Terraform
