Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing data engineering team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and operate scalable data platforms using modern ETL/ELT frameworks, while working remotely from anywhere within the U.S.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data engineering platforms with Azure Data Factory and cloud-native pipelines
• Architect modular data systems for batch and streaming workloads, influencing overall data and AI platform architecture
• Develop and optimize data processing solutions using PL/SQL, Python, and Unix for high-volume data pipelines

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering with enterprise-scale ETL/ELT solutions
• 4+ years of experience with Azure public cloud technologies, including Databricks and Snowflake
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL development for data transformation and performance tuning
