Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and evolve an AI-native product in a remote, full-time position, focusing on backend systems, scalable APIs, and AI-assisted development workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and evolve backend systems using Scala, Play, Postgres, and AWS
• Design and deploy scalable APIs and AI-assisted services while owning feature development from ideation to production
• Develop and maintain agent-driven development workflows and create internal tooling to enhance velocity and code quality

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend skills in Scala, Java, Ruby, or C#
• Proficient in JavaScript and React, with experience in building and scaling SaaS products
• Deep familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex
• Experience designing systems rather than just implementing features
• Strong intuition for leveraging AI in coding processes and workflows
