Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and evolve backend systems and AI-assisted services in a full-time remote role, focusing on building scalable APIs and enhancing developer workflows.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect and evolve backend systems using Scala, Play, Postgres, and AWS
• Design and deploy scalable APIs and AI-assisted services, owning feature development from ideation to production
• Develop and maintain agent-driven development workflows, optimizing performance across frontend and backend systems

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend system knowledge (Scala, Java, Ruby, or C#)
• Proficient in JavaScript and React, with experience in building and scaling SaaS products
• Deep familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex
• Experience designing systems rather than just implementing features
• Ability to work within multi-session, agent-driven workflows
