Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To help architect and evolve an AI-native product, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design and deploy scalable APIs, manage feature development from ideation to production, and optimize performance across frontend and backend systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and evolve backend systems using Scala, Play, Postgres, and AWS
• Design and deploy scalable APIs and AI-assisted services while developing frontend features with React
• Utilize AI coding tools to enhance implementation, debugging, and refactoring across multi-session workflows

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend system skills in Scala, Java, Ruby, or C#
• Proficiency in JavaScript and React, with experience in building and scaling SaaS products
• Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex
• Experience designing systems rather than just implementing features
• Ability to work in multi-session, agent-driven workflows
