Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To help architect and evolve an AI-native product, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design and deploy scalable APIs, manage feature development, and optimize backend systems using technologies like Scala, React, and AI-assisted tools.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and evolve backend systems and design scalable APIs and AI-assisted services
• Own feature development from ideation to production, including building frontend features with modern tools
• Develop and maintain agent-driven development workflows to improve coding velocity and quality

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend system knowledge (Scala, Java, Ruby, or C#)
• Proficient in JavaScript and React, with experience in building and scaling SaaS products
• Deep familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex
• Experience designing systems and workflows, not just implementing features
• Ability to work across multi-session, agent-driven workflows and collaborate effectively with AI
