Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and evolve an AI-native product in a fully remote, full-time role, focusing on backend systems, scalable APIs, and AI-assisted development workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and evolve backend systems using Scala, Play, Postgres, and AWS
• Design and deploy scalable APIs and AI-assisted services, owning feature development from ideation to production
• Utilize AI coding tools to enhance implementation, debugging, and refactoring across multiple sessions

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend system knowledge (Scala, Java, Ruby, or C#)
• Proficient in JavaScript and React, with experience building and scaling SaaS products
• Deep familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex
• Experience designing systems rather than just implementing features
• Ability to work across multi-session, agent-driven workflows
