Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and evolve backend systems and AI-assisted services in a full-time remote role, focusing on innovative software development and collaboration with AI tools.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and evolve backend systems using Scala, Play, Postgres, and AWS
• Design and deploy scalable APIs and AI-assisted services while owning feature development from ideation to production
• Develop and maintain agent-driven development workflows and optimize performance across frontend and backend systems

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend skills in Scala, Java, Ruby, or C#
• Proficient in JavaScript and React, with experience building and scaling SaaS products
• Deep familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex
• Experience designing systems rather than just implementing features
• Ability to work across multi-session, agent-driven workflows
