Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Software Engineer on the GTM Engineering team, the successful candidate will design and ship internal tools to enhance go-to-market operations, collaborating closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship applications that accelerate Vanta's go-to-market efforts, including AI-powered workflows and internal tools
• Own the full product lifecycle, from prototyping to shipping and maintaining solutions that address customer and internal workflow challenges
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, understand user needs, and implement technical solutions

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack application development
• Experience as a founder or early engineer at a startup, demonstrating the ability to navigate ambiguity and own outcomes
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python and TypeScript, along with experience in web frameworks and SQL
• Understanding of AI and automation applications in business workflows, with experience in relevant tools being a plus
• Ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements
