Job Summary

To support the development of integrated financial tools for the restaurant industry, the remote Senior Software Engineer will shape technical strategy and architecture, prioritize high-impact problems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver resilient financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the technical strategy and architecture for Financial Management, focusing on customer problems and product outcomes
• Identify and prioritize high-impact customer and technical challenges while balancing execution across teams
• Mentor engineers and model engineering excellence through design, code review, and inclusive technical leadership

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience in a Java/Kotlin environment
• Proven success in independently owning complex technical initiatives
• Strong judgment in designing and operating distributed systems and microservices
• Ability to align engineering, product, and design stakeholders around clear tradeoffs
• Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on understanding user workflows and improving experiences
