Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the health of CI/CD pipelines, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will enhance automated testing reliability across Elixir and TypeScript codebases while collaborating with engineering teams to optimize performance and establish testing patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure stability and performance of CI across frontend and backend repositories, driving success rates and reducing runtimes
• Identify and fix sources of flakiness in test suites while building tools to make issues visible
• Establish unit and integration testing patterns in Elixir, partnering with backend engineers to document and scale these practices

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an SDET, test infrastructure engineer, or software engineer with a strong focus on testing
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD systems like CircleCI and GitHub Actions, including pipeline design and debugging
• Proficiency in at least one backend language, ideally Elixir, with a demonstrated ability to learn new languages quickly
• Strong understanding of unit and integration testing patterns, particularly at service boundaries
• Experience building internal tooling or dashboards that enhance engineering workflows
