Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support explosive growth and maintain a unified platform approach, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will work remotely to develop frameworks and libraries that enhance the platform, focusing on API standardization and self-service UI customization.

Key responsibilities

• Expanding the platform's offerings for providers and breaking down APIs with a focus on performance and scalability
• Collaborating with engineering teams to enhance configurability and continuously improve the tech stack and infrastructure
• Mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical design processes and best practices

Required qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field
• 4+ years of full-stack web development experience, including designing and building APIs
• Experience with relational databases, including designing schemas and performant queries
• Familiarity with back-end languages, preferably Ruby on Rails, and front-end web frameworks
