Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with the product team, the remote Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain applications, write efficient code, and drive the technical vision for key product areas while championing engineering best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product team members to develop and maintain applications and features
• Write clean, maintainable code and drive the technical vision for scalable systems
• Mentor teammates through code reviews and proactively resolve application performance issues

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Expert knowledge of Ruby on Rails and proficiency with front-end technologies like JavaScript and React
• Strong experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Experience maintaining applications in a cloud environment
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
