Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will build scalable backend services and APIs for a digital merchandising platform, collaborate on architectural decisions, and enhance advertising product offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend services and APIs to support the advertising platform
• Collaborate with senior engineers and Product Managers on architecture and design decisions
• Work with Data Scientists to analyze and utilize data for advertising improvements

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in a product-centered team
• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
• Experience with AdTech systems, particularly in retail media or marketplace advertising
• Proficient in at least one system language, preferably Go or Java
• Familiarity with relational, columnar, and document-based databases
