Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Passionate about building secure and high-performance infrastructure, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will develop, test, and maintain fault-tolerant GraphQL runtime platforms primarily in Rust, while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain secure, high-performance infrastructure for GraphQL runtime platforms
• Engage with users to understand their needs and influence platform evolution through feedback
• Lead architectural discussions and mentor teammates in writing idiomatic Rust code

Required qualifications

• Experience with Rust and writing performant, maintainable code
• Expertise in systems engineering, including knowledge of stateless and fault-tolerant systems
• Strong collaboration skills with a focus on positively influencing cross-team efforts
• Passion for GraphQL and modern developer tooling
