Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and development of significant software projects, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will implement complex software systems, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of significant software features or projects
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while providing technical guidance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and prioritize software requirements

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in backend technologies: Java (Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch)
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training
• Experience in writing unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS
• Familiarity with Agile software development processes
