Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic methodology team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, implement, and maintain backend systems for high-volume data processing while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, scale, and maintain backend systems that process large volumes of data
• Collaborate on event-driven and API-based integrations while contributing to migration efforts toward a domain-based architecture
• Investigate technical problems and propose solutions in a collaborative development environment

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of backend software engineering experience with strong technical depth
• Proficiency in Java as a core language, with experience in Python and/or PySpark
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and Big O notation
• Experience with heavy data processing tools such as Spark, Kafka, and the Apache ecosystem
• Familiarity with Docker, SQL, NoSQL databases, REST APIs, and event-driven integrations
