Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team in a hybrid role, responsible for architecting and maintaining observability platforms, designing real-time metrics pipelines, and developing scalable APIs to enhance system reliability and performance insights.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain observability platforms using Python and time-series databases
• Design and implement real-time metrics pipelines and integrate observability tooling into CI/CD workflows
• Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and application teams to embed observability best practices across the SDLC

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or SRE roles
• Deep expertise in observability tools and practices (e.g., New Relic, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with real-time systems and time-series databases (e.g., InfluxDB, AWS Timestream)
• Proficiency with AWS services, especially CloudWatch and Lambda
