Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To shape the future of event streaming architecture, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design high-throughput solutions, enhance self-service tools, and modernize streaming systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and evolve the next-generation event streaming platform to support critical messaging and personalization use cases
• Build self-serve tools for event observability, debugging, and load testing to empower product and data teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to launch new features and scalable solutions based on streaming infrastructure

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with high-throughput, distributed systems, particularly in event streaming or messaging platforms
• Deep understanding of distributed streaming frameworks such as Kafka, Flink, Pulsar, or Spark
• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and familiarity with modern development practices
• Experience with observability and developer tooling for streaming, including infrastructure-as-code expertise
• Track record of modernizing platforms and implementing self-service capabilities
