Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design, construct, test, and debug technical solutions while providing effort estimates and resolving complex development issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design, construct, test, and debug technical solutions in compliance with engineering standards
• Provide effort estimates and manage tasks within defined schedules
• Identify system and process deficiencies and recommend improvements

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in a related computer or engineering field with 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience
• 7+ years of commercial product development experience
• Proficiency in RPG & CL, DB2 SQL, SQL Procedure, and User Defined Functions
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles (SOLID)
• Experience with agile software development in a geographically distributed environment
