Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and build scalable backend systems and ML pipelines, leveraging technologies such as Vertex AI, KServe, and Elasticsearch to enhance content recommendation and personalization in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and manage scalable ML pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment to support recommendation and personalization use cases
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring effective feature generation and model training workflows
• Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to define and deliver ML-driven features while monitoring system performance and reliability

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in building scalable backend systems and services
• 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming, particularly in Python, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch for search and indexing, and Apache Kafka for event-driven systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
