Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with a Balanced Product Team to develop and maintain analytic solutions, mentor engineers, and drive performance engineering best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support analytic solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Lead the creation of requirements, user stories, and test cases, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Mentor team members on observability and monitoring, while proactively addressing performance issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 6 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Python or Java, including frameworks like Flask, Django, or SpringBoot
• Experience designing microservices and building CI/CD pipelines using tools like Tekton and Jenkins
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform and OpenShift
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and data warehouses like BigQuery
