Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and develop software applications using Go for back-end and React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript for front-end while working remotely one or more days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of new software and web applications, ensuring high-quality code and performance
• Develop and maintain back-end and front-end software, perform unit testing, and support application roll-outs
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and mentor junior engineers in best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Five years of experience in back-end development using Go and front-end development using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Three years of experience with MySQL, Redis, Docker, AWS, and Agile methodologies
• Two years of experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Experience performing unit testing and using TypeScript
