Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Senior Software Engineer, the candidate will lead the development of new features for TCGplayer's Seller Payments & Fee Processing platforms, build and expand microservices in a cloud-based architecture using C#, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring secure and compliant systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of new features for the Seller Payments & Fee Processing platforms
• Contribute to the evolution of distributed architecture by building and modernizing microservices
• Ensure the development of secure and compliant systems for high-volume ecommerce operations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of software development experience, particularly with C# (ASP.Net/.Net Core)
• Experience with RDBMS technologies such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server, and data stores like Redis and DynamoDB
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, especially Kafka
• Experience designing and developing microservices in a cloud-based architecture, preferably AWS
