Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on advancing the Tableflow project, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design and implement innovative strategies for storage solutions, build multi-tenant infrastructure, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data streaming capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement strategies for table schematization, materialization, and compaction at massive scale
• Build and maintain highly available infrastructure for background computational tasks related to long-term storage
• Collaborate with product management and other engineering teams to integrate storage features seamlessly

Required qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence and guide stakeholders
• Familiarity with open-source technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Iceberg, or Apache Flink
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
