Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing developer productivity, the full-time Senior Software Engineer (AI-Native) will manage build and deployment pipelines, design AI-native testing strategies, and maintain the Hireology Developer Portal, all while working remotely with a preference for candidates located near Chicago.

Key responsibilities

• Own pipeline performance to achieve 10 or more production deployments per day, identifying and eliminating bottlenecks
• Design and implement an AI-native testing strategy that accommodates significant AI-generated code volume
• Build and maintain the Hireology Developer Portal, ensuring it provides comprehensive resources for external developers

Required qualifications

• 5 or more years of software engineering experience, particularly in developer tooling, platform engineering, or CI/CD infrastructure
• Hands-on proficiency in multiple languages and frameworks, including Next.js, .NET, Go, and Ruby on Rails
• Demonstrable experience improving CI/CD pipeline performance and automated test infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Proficiency with AI-native development tools, specifically Claude Code or comparable frameworks
