Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Software Engineer II on the Marketplace team will build and maintain full-stack features, support ML Ops infrastructure, and collaborate with data scientists to enhance the systems that match renters to homes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features for marketplace products, including search and ranking
• Support and extend ML Ops infrastructure, including model deployment pipelines and monitoring
• Collaborate with data scientists to reliably bring models into production at scale

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend or full-stack development
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Ruby, JavaScript, Go, or Python
• Exposure to ML concepts and a willingness to work at the intersection of software engineering and machine learning
• Experience working in cloud environments, preferably GCP, with familiarity in AI tools
• Mentorship experience for other engineers and ability to collaborate across time zones
