Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer in a remote capacity, the ideal candidate will design and operate orchestration frameworks and distributed retrieval architectures to support scalable AI workflows across Fortress products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate orchestration frameworks for long-running, stateful AI workflows
• Develop distributed retrieval architectures across various data platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform adoption and operational excellence

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in backend, platform, or infrastructure engineering with production distributed systems
• Strong Python development experience, including asynchronous systems and API design
• Hands-on experience with AI infrastructure, orchestration systems, or retrieval platforms in production
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts, including queues and fault tolerance
• Active use of AI-assisted engineering workflows and development tooling
