Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of autonomous restaurant operations software, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will build mission-critical systems that enhance guest experience and directly impact restaurant revenue, working remotely from anywhere in the United States or Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Build and innovate software systems for autonomous restaurant operations, enhancing interaction models between operators and technology
• Develop systems that leverage real-time data to improve customer feedback and reduce support tickets and churn
• Demonstrate ownership across workflows involving ordering, kitchens, delivery, and fulfillment

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on shipping customer-facing product features
• Proficiency in frontend technologies (React, Next.js) and/or backend technologies (Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
• Experience in building end-to-end systems, with knowledge of workflow orchestration or automation systems preferred
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with positive feedback from colleagues in product, design, and business
• Demonstrated sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving abilities
