Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To build the next generation of identity and access management systems, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, improve, and own critical authentication infrastructure while working remotely from anywhere in the United States or Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Design and enhance authentication and authorization systems that power all product surfaces across the platform
• Own the critical auth infrastructure end-to-end, including login, session management, and access enforcement
• Improve reliability and observability of auth services through alerting, dashboards, and runbooks

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production backend systems with ownership of critical services
• Proficiency in Typescript or Javascript with experience in web-scale applications
• Hands-on experience in building authentication, authorization, or similar platform infrastructure
• Strong understanding of API design, distributed systems, and operational reliability
• Demonstrated sense of ownership and urgency in driving projects forward
