Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and development of complex systems for a large federal government project, the full-time Senior Software Product Engineer will work remotely to create scalable cloud-native architectures and AI-enabled applications that enhance healthcare technology platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop event-driven, data-intensive backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS
• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions with REST APIs and asynchronous messaging patterns
• Drive Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and maintain automated testing strategies across various testing types

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly with AI-enabled systems
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments
• Strong experience with React, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Demonstrated experience applying Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies
