Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance productivity across Airbnb's global workforce, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will lead the development of AI-powered employee experience platforms, focusing on building tools that democratize AI for non-technical employees and drive innovation from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and implementation of LLM-powered features for enterprise AI tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user problems into AI-powered solutions
• Mentor engineers and oversee the development of production-ready AI/ML-integrated systems

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on production AI/ML systems
• Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and experience with prompt engineering
• Strong proficiency in Python and at least one additional language (TypeScript, Go, or Java)
• Experience building and deploying production ML systems at scale
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
