Job Summary

Focused on improving system architecture and scalability, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will lead technical initiatives for the Core Product Team, working remotely to enhance the performance and maintainability of dealership websites and internal tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture and scalability initiatives across the Rails and Next.js platform
• Improve platform maintainability by evolving customer-specific logic into reusable systems
• Drive technical direction for complex projects while partnering closely with product and engineering leadership

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience designing and scaling modern web applications and distributed systems
• Experience operating in startup environments with significant ambiguity and rapid growth
• Strong technical judgment and systems thinking
• Experience leading large technical initiatives without formal management authority
