Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of AI infrastructure, the fully remote freelance Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain production-grade software systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a flexible contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software systems that support AI training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines
• Write clean, well-tested, and performant code in modern programming languages such as Python or TypeScript
• Build and optimize APIs, data pipelines, and backend services that operate reliably at scale

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, Java, etc.)
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design principles
• Experience building and deploying backend services, APIs, or data-intensive applications
• Comfortable working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments
