Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To shape the infrastructure behind cutting-edge AI products, the fully remote freelance Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain production-grade software systems, focusing on APIs, data pipelines, and backend services while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software systems supporting AI training and deployment pipelines
• Write clean, well-tested code in Python, TypeScript, or other modern languages
• Collaborate asynchronously with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, Java)
• Solid understanding of software architecture and system design principles
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
