Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of AI infrastructure, the fully remote freelance Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain production-grade software systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams while working independently on impactful projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software systems for AI training, evaluation, and deployment
• Write clean, performant code in modern programming languages and optimize APIs and data pipelines
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across distributed systems and collaborate asynchronously with teams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, Java, etc.)
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design principles
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
