Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of AI infrastructure, the freelance Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain production-grade software systems remotely, focusing on scalable solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software systems for AI training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines
• Build and optimize APIs, data pipelines, and backend services that operate reliably at scale
• Collaborate asynchronously with ML engineers, researchers, and product managers while participating in code reviews

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, TypeScript, or Java
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design principles
• Experience building and deploying backend services, APIs, or data-intensive applications
• Comfortable working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments
