Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Building and evolving systems for real-time media processing, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and maintain software that ingests audio and video data from various communication platforms, working remotely while providing technical leadership to the development team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software systems for real-time and recorded audio/video streams
• Provide technical leadership, including code reviews and mentoring junior engineers
• Contribute to the architecture of distributed systems for high-throughput media ingestion and processing

Required qualifications

• Experience with real-time communication systems, such as VoIP, SIP, RTP, or WebRTC
• Experience with audio and/or video processing pipelines and streaming technologies
• Proficiency in building micro-services and REST/gRPC APIs
• Familiarity with observability tooling and debugging distributed systems
• Experience with security best practices in cloud environments
