Job Summary

Motivated and technically-savvy, the remote Senior Software Engineer in Support I will provide multi-level database troubleshooting and technical support, collaborating with Client Support and Product Development teams to resolve client issues effectively.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Client Support staff, addressing software defects and advanced customer issues
  • Collaborate with Product Development and implementation teams to resolve client issues and perform root cause analysis of product problems
  • Independently handle severity 1/severity 2 incidents and debug complex distributed systems issues to improve system reliability
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development or equivalent support experience
  • Hands-on experience with incident management and debugging live systems
  • Highly skilled in Software Engineering Principles, Database Design, and web application development (preferably in Java/J2EE)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and observability tools for CI/CD systems
