Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design, build, and operation of automation systems, the full-time Senior Software Engineer I (Automation) will manage complex technical initiatives, collaborate with Product Managers, and mentor junior engineers, with the flexibility to work remotely or from the Bellevue, WA office.

Key responsibilities

• Architect AI-driven workflows using AWS services to solve multi-step business challenges
• Drive the implementation of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for unified AI interactions across systems
• Mentor junior engineers on AI prompt engineering and best practices in automation

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building scalable applications or enterprise integration services
• Advanced expertise in AWS services, including Step Functions and EventBridge
• Programming experience with modern languages such as JavaScript (Node.js), TypeScript, or Python
• 1+ years of experience developing AI features using Generative AI or Agentic workflows
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
