Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing developer productivity, the full-time Senior Software Engineer (AI-Native) will manage CI/CD pipelines, design AI-native testing strategies, and build external developer tools while working remotely, preferably near Chicago.

Key responsibilities

• Own build and deployment pipeline performance with a target of 10 or more production deployments per day
• Design and implement an AI-native testing strategy for a codebase significantly contributed to by AI agents
• Develop and maintain the Hireology Developer Portal, ensuring it serves external developers effectively

Required qualifications

• 5 or more years of software engineering experience, particularly in developer tooling or CI/CD infrastructure
• Hands-on proficiency in Next.js, .NET, Go, and Ruby on Rails
• Demonstrable experience improving CI/CD pipeline performance
• Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code tooling
• Proficiency with AI-native development tools, specifically Claude Code or similar frameworks
