Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Tactical Command & Control line of business, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and deliver mission-critical software systems for Defense and Homeland Security customers while working remotely from the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices and a large-scale React-based front-end application
• Build and deploy containerized applications, and implement robust unit and integration testing
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and mission teams to enhance system performance and code quality

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience with Java, Spring frameworks, and RESTful APIs
• Proficiency with modern development tools, including Git and Docker
• Experience in building complex, data-driven UI applications in Linux-based environments
