Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Identity team within Platform, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will architect and deliver backend systems for user identity management, ensuring security and operational excellence in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design and reliability of critical backend systems serving millions of customers
• Lead the transition to a unified Account abstraction, defining APIs and data models across products
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver secure and extensible identity management solutions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly with backend systems
• Proven experience in designing and maintaining production services in a service-oriented architecture
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to use generative AI tools in workflows
• Passion for building an open financial system
