Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Data Platform team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and operate foundational data services and scalable pipelines while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams during quarterly in-person sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate data-heavy services including storage, orchestration, and batch processing
• Build and maintain data integration and process SDKs for internal services and product teams
• Develop self-service applications for users to manage and troubleshoot their data pipelines

Required qualifications

• At least 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Strong backend development skills in Python, Go, or Java
• Experience working with data systems or data pipelines
• Familiarity with design patterns such as scale-out, caching, and key/value
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Airflow, and BI tools for data analysis
