Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the design and operation of Kubernetes cluster management tooling, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will enhance the compute platform's reliability and efficiency while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve service deployment and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Kubernetes cluster management tooling for a reliable and self-healing compute platform
• Develop developer-facing tooling and workflows that integrate AI-driven processes for improved interaction with Kubernetes
• Automate operational tasks to enhance platform observability and incident response while reducing on-call burdens

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in Kubernetes or similar compute orchestration systems
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP infrastructure services in a production environment
• Proven ability to design and operate distributed infrastructure systems, diagnosing complex failures
• Familiarity with the CNCF ecosystem and experience applying these tools to infrastructure challenges
• Experience applying AI tooling to improve automation and operational efficiency in infrastructure workflows
