Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the design and operation of Kubernetes cluster management tooling, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will enhance the compute platform's reliability and efficiency while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Kubernetes cluster management tooling and automation for a reliable compute platform
• Develop developer-facing tooling and workflows to improve interactions with Kubernetes, emphasizing AI integration
• Automate operational processes to enhance platform observability and incident response, while reducing on-call burdens

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in Kubernetes or similar compute orchestration systems
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP infrastructure services in a production environment
• Ability to design and operate distributed infrastructure systems and diagnose complex failures
• Experience with the CNCF ecosystem and applying tools to solve infrastructure challenges
• Proven capability to leverage AI tooling to enhance automation and operational efficiency
