Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the design and operation of Kubernetes cluster management tooling, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will enhance the compute platform's reliability and scalability while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve service deployment and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build Kubernetes cluster management tooling and automation for reliable compute platform operations
• Develop developer-facing tooling that integrates AI-driven processes to improve interactions with Kubernetes
• Automate operational tasks to reduce on-call burdens and improve platform observability and incident response

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years with Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP infrastructure services in a production environment
• Proven ability to design and operate distributed infrastructure systems, diagnosing complex failures
• Experience with the CNCF ecosystem and applying these tools to solve infrastructure challenges
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI tooling to enhance automation and operational efficiency
