Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the design and operation of the primary compute orchestration infrastructure, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will build and manage Kubernetes tooling and automation to enhance reliability and scalability of services in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Kubernetes cluster management tooling and automation for a reliable compute platform
• Develop developer-facing tools and workflows that integrate AI-driven processes for improved interactions with Kubernetes
• Collaborate with Security, Reliability, and Observability teams to ensure compliance with performance and security standards

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in Kubernetes or similar compute orchestration systems
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP infrastructure services in a production environment
• Proven ability to design and operate distributed infrastructure systems, diagnosing complex failures
• Experience with the CNCF ecosystem and applying these tools to solve infrastructure challenges
• Demonstrated ability to utilize AI tooling to enhance automation and operational efficiency
