Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a large federal government project, the full-time Senior Software Product Engineer will lead the design and development of complex systems that automate workflows and enhance healthcare technology platforms in a 100% remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop event-driven, data-intensive backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS
• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions with clearly defined service boundaries and REST APIs
• Drive Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and maintain automated testing strategies across various testing levels

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly in AI-enabled systems
• Experience designing and developing microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems
• Strong experience with React, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Proficiency with AWS services and cloud-native technologies
